This page will focus on the work of Friedrich Nietzsche
“Kierkegaard and Nietzsche: A Study of Faith And Non-Faith” will
round out the FCC calendar before the busy summer months. Both
Friedrich Nietzsche and Soren Kierkegaard are philosophical giants of
the 19th century, a time of tremendous change and challenge for the
Western church. Both reacted to the dilemmas modernity poised to
Christian faith in profound ways, but they came to different conclusions
on how to understand faith. Come and explore the ideas, passion, and
conclusions of these contrasting “life philosophers.” Led by the Rev.
Kevin McLemore, this study will begin on the Wednesday nights
beginning on April 19 and conclude on May 17. (No philosophy degree
required!)
